Let It Be

Happy New Year!

This was inspired by the song "Let It Be" by Blackmill, which I've been listening to a lot lately. It's not inspired by the lyrics really but the general mood and feeling of the song. The mixture of the different sounds and repetitious dropping of the bass make me feel like I'm underwater and it's very soothing so I wanted to try and make some visual art that emulated that feeling. It's not often that I do original art and it's a bit different from my usual stuff like this but now that I've improved my skills by doing fan art, I'd like to do a lot more original art this year! My other art related goals for the new year are to improve my understanding of lighting and anatomy and do studies and experiment more often. I think I've grown a lot this past year but I know the parts that are holding me back the most and I wanna stamp them out! Anyone else wanna share their new year goals? I'd love to hear them!
