Sam Is Jewish

Been seeing a lot of people forgetting (or ignoring) that Sam Manson is canonly Jewish over the years. Made this in response in seeing yet another person on Tumblr suggest that Sam is not Jewish.

The show never once hid the fact that Sam Manson is canonly Jewish:

• Sam and her family celebrate Hanukkah (The Fright Before Christmas)

• Her grandmother's nickname for her is a Yiddish word (Control Freaks)

• Sam names her flour sack child Lilith, the name of a demon in Jewish mythology (Life Lessons)

So here's your reminder that Sam Manson is canonly Jewish. And here's your reminder to both research into Judaism and listen to Jewish people when they vocally talk about why erasing the canon identity of characters like Sam is bad
