Taken quite a bit after sunset. Those clouds held color forever. Focus stack, 4 frames at f/5.6 • 30s • 400 ISO due to the lower light.
Lots of fox and rabbit tracks criss-crossing out on the South Trail loop during that time of year. I was on my way back to the road when I came across this spot, where some old tracks crossed a spot on the Salt River that hadn't completely frozen yet (because of the salt 😎). Couldn't resist the look with those clouds as stars began to poke out.
