I installed Slingscold and it works but the icon is not updated for Yosemite/El Capitan so I am in the process of fixing this.

Also I can not find a way to get globalmenu to work. I'm a recent transfer from Windows to Elementary OS and I have no regrets. If you know of a way to get globalmenu to work on Freya (0.3), please share
