LYRICS ARE SHOWN IN DESCRIPTION TOO!
This cover of "A Story Told" from "The Count Of Monte Cristo" musical was uploaded before on YouTube and Google+, but I want to upload it on this site next. I think being popular on DeviantArt has become easier in comparison to YouTube in my opinion.
Anyways, I introduce DeviantArt to my series where I sing as "PB&J Otter" characters. I might sing as other cartoon characters someday, but I think this could be my most prolific of my potential singing cover franchise. Well, I've made some revival ideas for "PB&J Otter", so why not sing as them.
Here, I sing as Flick Duck, Munchy Beaver, and Pinch Raccoon in this villain song cover. I think I sang pretty good as my characters (yes, even Pinch).
My next thing to do is this: what's for the future of my new series? Well, I have ideas that I made and/or scrapped.
One of these scrapped is "I Will Be There", also from "The Count Of Monte Cristo" musical. I wanted to alter and change a couple lyrics so it can be suitable for Peanut and Jelly. Unfortunately, I got rid of it because I don't know how to alter some other lyrics to make them more friendly. I don't want to creep you out by making Peanut and Jelly sing a love song. But that's not the only one I scrapped.
I also wanted Peanut to sing "Let Her Go" by Passenger (using the Romantic Candlelight Piano Mix arrangement), but I didn't like my singing in that one, so I got rid of it. Also, some of the lyrics are not that friendly either. I may be an animation fan, but I ain't no part of Kidz Bop, that's for sure (note: I mentioned Kidz Bop because they alter dirty lyrics too).
But there's some I've completed or are in progress and will show you in the future, including:
1. "Open Up Your Eyes" (from "My Little Pony - The Movie")
2. "Learn To Do It" (from "Anastasia")
3. "Alexander Hamilton" (from "Hamilton", with toned down lyrics)
4. "Friendship U" (from the "Friendship Is Magic" episode "Friendship University", with a couple altered lyrics)
5. "All I Want For Hoohaw Hoo This Year" (special parody (with new lyrics) of "All I Really Want For Christmas" from "Family Guy")
6. "No One Is Alone" (from "Into The Woods")
7. "Confrontation" (from "Jekyll & Hyde")
If any of you have song suggestions for me to sing as "PB&J Otter" characters, leave them in the comments below.
No negative comments please! I worked hard on this cover! Spread some love for "PB&J Otter"!
"PB&J Otter" is a property of Jumbo Pictures (currently Cartoon Pizza), Disney Television Animation, and Disney Channel. "The Count Of Monte Cristo" is a property of Touchstone Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment.
LYRICS:
Flick -We are friends, are we not, and out interests are the same.
Munchy - We collaborate...
Pinch - ...and trust in fate to parcel out the blame.
Flick - There are ends we've all got that can justify the means.
Pinch - We negotiate...
Munchy - ...then fabricate the facts behind the scenes.
Flick - Keeping all the details vague and secrets hidden...
Pinch - Safe from the balance sheet of those who trust, because history is a story told by the winners of the fight! You imply as little...
Flick - Lie a little, testifying...
Munchy - ...try a little...
Flick and Munchy - ...sailor!
Flick - Who's gonna question what goes on in the middle of the night. Not a tinker...
Pinch - Not a tailer.
Flick - Not his father or Jelly...
Munchy - ...or a jailor! [laughs evilly]
Flick - So we all are agreed, let's be vigilant and wise.
Pinch - We must all pretend our naive friend was caught in his own lies. For our plan to succeed, we must share but one belief: Peanut Otter stays and ends his days inside the Chateau d'If!
Flick - Where the softest things he'll touch are stones and darkness deep in a craggy isle and dungeon's keep!
Munchy - Because history is a story told by the men who make the laws.
Pinch - We supply a little lie...
Flick - ...to help the gullible to find a little fable!
Munchy - What will become of the righteous men who fashioned Peanut's flaws?
Pinch - The rich...
Munchy - ...and well-respected...
Pinch - ...are no more to be rejected at our table.
Flick - I'll be a comfort in her time of grief and anguish. I'll be Jelly's ever faithful acolyte every night.
Munchy - And part of me wishes Peanut didn't have to languish. But I can see it's him or me!
Pinch - Let him sit there and rot until he's forgot!
Flick - Let him rot!
All - History is a story told by the people who survive!
Munchy - Let me sign and then initial.
Pinch - It's the truth if it's officially the story.
Flick - What if the cost is one young man so three more men can survive?
Munchy - He's the price we have to pay...
Flick - ...so live and fight another day for love and glory!
Pinch - He was standing in the way, a threat to justice in Marseille!
Munchy - So goes the story!
Flick - Stick to the story!
All - Here ends the story!
