I just wanted to share my thoughts on the sketchbook I bought. It's a Stillman and Birn Epsilon Series A5 sketchbook and it's made for pen and ink, the company also make about half a dozen other sketchbooks for other media if you are interested, but I've not tested them out yet. The book has a hardcover with a slight leathery texture to it and has 128pages, or 64 sheets, they're natural white but slightly creamy (it's hardly noticeable though), they're slightly thicker than printer paper and just as smooth. Regarding bleeding and feathering; there is absolutely no feathering what so ever which is awesome and there is no bleed through with non-alcohol based markers but with alcohol based marker there's slight bleed through. Because the paper is relatively thin you can see the drawing on the other side but there is no actual bleed through as I said before, personally this doesn't bother me but it may bother some people. This is as close as you can get to a perfect sketchbook for pen and ink so if you're looking for one, this is the one to get.

Oh and BTW you will need to relax the spine for it to lay flat, you do this by taking the covers on either side, pull them back and make them almost touch each other, repeat a few times and the book will lay perfectly flat!
