Ignis folia

This is my first tree of light. The crown is made of Guinean calabash. The black branches and the bigger leaves are vertically symmetrical. All of the other branches and smaller leaves are freely designed but with certain rule of overlapping. The perforated leaves are mosaic-like or branched, but mostly it's combined design. The trunk is finished with waxed cotton string and the roots are carved from walnut.
