[from website] Tales of a Checkered Man creator Denver Brubaker currently lives in Chicago, IL but grew up in western Michigan and not only spent lots of time drawing, but playing baseball and building stuff with Legos. He still loves drawing, baseball, and Legos. In his spare time he enjoys walking, drawing, reading, watching TV, old time radio shows, going to the movies or the theatre, as well as cool, old comics. If Denver wasn’t doing what he does now he is certain he would have made a great paleontologist that had cool adventures like Indiana Jones. Maybe.
