Description
Nobody could put together what happened exactly. One minute, our heroes, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi, were down for the count in their effort to once again rescue Princess Peach from the filthy claws of the tyrannical Koopa King, Bowser. And the next, Mario was back on his feet. His eyes shined with bright orange, fiery energy, and a matching light enveloped him, shimmering throughout his body. With a mighty roar and throwing down his arms, Mario became encased in a column of fiery-orange light, and the ground erupted with flaming energy.
The light died, revealing Mario had changed. Without his signature cap, he dawned a cape without the Cape Feather, and his hair and mustache glowed like fire. Fiery orange energy flowed from his eyes, and his body was enveloped in a bright flaming aura. It didn't take long for Mario to settle into this new form. It only took slightly longer for him to batter Bowser with a powerful assault and leave him beaten on the ground.

"M- Mario?" Luigi said.
"Mario?" Peach said.
Yoshi only starred with widened eyes, astounded by Mario's newfound strength. Bowser, on the other side, was on the ground, barely able to move, while his Magikoopa, Kamek floated on his broom, mouth agape.
"Uuughh... W-What the heck is going on?" Bowser groaned. "What happened to him?"
Kamek shuddered. "T-that power..?!" he gasped. "Can it be-?" He choked in his words. "No.. NO! That's not possible. Not by him!"
Although everyone was taken back by Mario's incredible newfound powers, no one understood what had happened to him.
While unsaid, a stunning event occurred in the Mushroom Kingdom...
Fire Fury Mario... was unleashed!
Was feeling bored, so I decided to make something for Mario's Limit Breaker Form. It was originally supposed to be a poster, but it went from poster to mini-comic. Regardless, I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I imagine this was Bowser’s debut of Kingstand power, and with no powerups around, they couldn’t match it. Left with no other option, Mario synthesized a powerup with power even he didn’t realize he had.
