So, as you may have noticed my deviantART has been pretty quiet for the past month.I'm elbow deep in books about the eighteenth century, putting together my dissertation sentence by aching sentence....I'm handing it in 26th April (Good lord, that's so soon, oh god...) but after that I shall have a summer within which to draw and read and be all relaxed (apart from going to work full-time to earn the tuition for my masters degree, ha ha...) and there shall be drawings aplenty.I miss just kicking back at the end of the day with my sketchbook. At the moment if i'm not at work i'm at uni and if i'm not at uni i'm in the library and if i'm not ...

Well, last Thursday I did something very, very stupid.I knocked a full glass of wine onto my macbook classic, the most faithful little laptop in the whole world. Predictably, it proved too much for it to handle and sadly it is now virtually unusable.I've had it since I was 17, so we've been through a lot together! And unlike every other laptop or computer I've come into contact with, it NEVER lost a file. Or if it did, it was totally MY fault.So, goodbye my friend. You treated me well. Sorry I couldn't do the same...However, every cloud has a silver lining and this morning I was delivered a macbook pro, and I have instantly fallen in love ...
