Thought seeing as Ive been quiet for so long, i should post something to show you all what ive been doing these few months.
This is a C17th Men's doublet, complete with lace collar and matching Cape, made during my time at the Northern College of Costume.
Doublet is made of raw grey silk,
Edges are piped in red satin
Cape is charcoal black velvet, with a red linning in a rose pattern, and hand embroided red roses on the collar
Collar is white cotton, and white cotton lace with hand embroided red roses,
will try and get more pics up soon of both this and my other projects
