Howdy folks,It's been quite a while, huh? Yea, i know... but i'm not dead... well... not completely... although i'm pretty sure that's being taken care of by my college teachers... :oThe good thing is that i finally grew some shame into this bearded face and got myself a job. Ok, it's not like a real job but more like a scholarship inside the university, but it's work and it pays... it actually doesn't pay that bad and i have some sort of flexibility towards my working hours, so it gets easy to skip work whenever i have something more important to do.The funny thing is that the job doesn't have to do neither with drawing nor with architect...

Hmm... i just got a notice from dA that i had won a free week subscription. :boogie:At first i have to say i was happy, but then i realized it's just a trick to get people hooked... :unimpressed:I mean... i've been subscribed once (and i'm most grateful to Splapp for that) and it was pretty damn good. If you've never been subscribed, you have no idea of how fast dA can get. I truly believe they toss all the common users through the bottle neck of few servers while the considerably fewer people that are subscribed are directed through wider bands and less "jammed" servers. So, yea, heaven for a week, but it'll be hell for a month. I'l...

*poke* Hello?
Do you still frequent these parts?
the-error404's avatar
I do, indeed. Just to watch, though. I hardly actually post anything here.

And you, sir? How's it been? Last time I heard from you, you got some children book gig. Did that turn alright?

You should post stuff again. Others enjoy your stuff and drawing is a nice outlet.
Im doing well. It's been good and bad with many ups and downs. But that's life I suppose.
All the book gigs I got, never came to fruition. I've made them things, the authors liked it but never managed to get themselves published - or paid to in turn pay me for work.
That happened a lot. Freelance is a wonderful thing if you have steady work other wise, it's terrible and I can't make a living on it.

Same questions but to you?
or if you prefer- which I do, if you have gmail we can just chat that way and catch up.
They have a drawing function too. Imagine that :p

I kinda did that with programming. Got some freelances but that was that. Then I got my Architecture major and worked on a kinda big company for almost 2 years. I was planning some cycle-ways and handicap friendly infrastructure but then this recession hit Brazil and they let me go.

I'm thinking about doing something else now. Maybe something related to programming (which I also like) or 3D modelling. Still figuring it out.

Let's definitely get together on Gtalk and doodle around!
