The Princess of Music: Chapter 1
Chapter 1: The Beginning
In a far away land, long ago, lived a village called Melody Land. The kingdom was ruled by King Paris, the beloved king of Melody Land, along with his lovely wife, Queen Helen. They had filled each life of each citizen with love and joy.
For years, King Paris and Queen Helen had longed for a child. Then, finally, their wish was granted.
A daughter was born. A princess. And she was given the name, Aphrodite.
(Chorus)
"Aphrodite"
Yes, they named her after the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, for they had been informed by their ancestors that their princess would grow up to become the most beautiful girl in the land. Along with a beautiful melodic voice which would fill Melody Land with more love and happiness.
Then, a great holiday was proclaimed throughout the kingdom, so that all of high or low estate might pay homage to the infant princess.
And our story begins on that most joyful day...
"Hail to the Princess Aphrodite"

Tanya Viola: Prologue
Prologue
"There was a time, not very long ago, when King George V ruled most of England...
In a small part of my country, there lived the rich and the poor. Unlike the tales of Robin Hood, we aristocrats helped the paupers in need, providing them with a portion of money, places to love, and good food to eat.
Now, the year was Nineteen Hundred and Sixteen. And my daughter, Ophelia, was married to the richest man in all England."

The townspeople looked up to this particular place, because they could get all the money they need to survive the life they currently lived. Such as food, clothes, getting jobs, homes for the homeless, and even an orphanage for the orphans who lived there to be adopted.
Despite there successful efforts, the world was still a bigger place for the household.

The Magic Christmas: Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Getting Ready
It was a snowfall December of 1999, in Woodland, Maine, and only three days until Christmas.
The Stanton family were busy, loading their suitcases and supplies in the trunk of the car. They were going to spend the holidays over at Faraway Farm, where Anna Stanton grew up with her parents.
After her childhood, Anna moved out for college, where she met Jonathan, a student around her age. After graduation, they married, and gave birth to two daughters; Jane and Harriet.
Jane, the eldest, was quite a normal girl for her age at thirteen. She loved her family dearly, and did everything she could to support them. Especially around Christmastime. She hadn't seen her maternal grandparents in the longest time. Probably since she was even younger than eight. She was absolutely looking forward to seeing them again, and explore their farm.
Harriet, the youngest, was a normal toddler at two-and-a-half-years-old. She still had things to learn and understand properly.

There you'll see your dreams unfold,

Not too long ago, in New York City, a lonely couple gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. They named her Clarabella. Although they were loving parents, they worried. They were so poor. How would they be able to care for their little daughter?
One cold winter's night caused the deaths of these loving parents when Clarabella was only four-years-old. Since then, Clarabella was forced to live on the streets; with rags as her only clothing, searching for food and shelter,

A Troll In Central Park: Lily's Dream: Prologue
Prologue
Once upon a time,
There was an English couple, Alan and Hilary, who met in London, and fell in love. They got married, and Hilary carried with her, the whole day, a beautiful bouquet of flowers; only of lilies and roses.
A couple of years went by, and Hilary gave birth to their first child; a girl. They named her Lily, after the lilies in her mother's wedding bouquet.
When Lily was four-years-old, Alan was assigned a new job as a lawyer in New York City, America. Accepting the job, Alan, Hilary, and Lily had their move out of London. Despite being mostly foggy and rainy nearly everyday, Lily was quite sad to be leaving London. But yet, she mostly looked forward to seeing what America would be like.
Indeed, America was just as Lily imagined it to be. The weather was sunny, all the time, all the people there were extremely nice, and there were such lovely places for Lily and her parents to visit. Central Park was Lily's personal favorite place to hang out. They lived in a

Chapter 1: A Family Without Music
Miguel's POV
Sometimes, twelve-year-old Miguel Rivera felt as if he were cursed. If it was, it wasn't his fault. It was all because of something that happened before he was even born...
A long time ago, in the town of Santa Cecilia, there was this family, with a papá, a mamá, and their young daughter. Their house was always full of joy- and music. The papá would play his guitar, while the mamá and daughter would dance. They all sang together, and counted their blessings.
But, the music in the happy home wasn't enough for the papá. He had a dream. To play for the world. Then, one day, he left with his guitar, and never returned...
No one knew what became of him after that. And they didn't seem to even care. Because the mamá, she just didn't have time to waste even one tear over that walk-away musician. So, because of that, she banished all music from her life, throwing away all instruments, records, and everything.
Afterwards, she found a job.

Chapter 1: Dramedy Beginnings
Our story begins as we are given a view of a chestnut brown book resting upon a wooden table. On the cover of that book, is a picture of a bluish-gray cat chasing a brown mouse with a mallet under the title; The Adventures of Tom and Jerry. The book opened up the first two pages, revealing the first story; The Rescuers, and we hear a voice reading to us...
"Once upon a time, there was a cat and a mouse. For many years, these two rascals have been archenemies; for the cat would always chase the mouse. But unlike most mice, this particular mouse was very clever, as he would often beat the cat at his own games.
But, little did these two know that one day, the cat and mouse would have to set aside their differences and work together to help two young girls. Which would soon lead them to an everlasting frenemy-ship.
While the two fought, there lived two girls named Mandy and Robyn Starling, and their wealthy widowed father, Michael Starling. His wife

Chapter 1: Life As An Apprentice
London, 1910
When little Jack was born, his parents were so poor and were having the most difficult time on looking for jobs and raising their son at the same time. With no other choice, they reluctantly brought their son to an orphanage, and promised to come back for him as soon as they could find a job. But unfortunately, Jack's mother had contacted influenza, and succumbed from it, some time after. Jack's father had died as well, having contracted with the disease from his wife.
With his parents gone, Jack grew up into a hard-working, responsible, yet fun-loving, young boy. He helped all others in need; the rich, the poor, even the other orphans as well.
When a jack-of-all-trades young man, Bert, learned of Jack's successful work, he declared that he could use a "little buddy in need of assistance," as he was struggling to find a suitable job, but still have fun at the same time. Jack accepted the offer, and left the orphanage.

Enchanted: A Fairytale Come True: Chapter 1
Chapter 1: An Unusual Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time, in a magical land known as New York City...
Okay fine, New York City wasn't really that much of a magical place. Not to thirteen-year-old Christina Philip. "Chris" for short. Every day was to be loyal; practical, realistic, and not fantasy-like at all. And it was all because of her father, Robert Philip.
Ever since their mother left some time ago, Robert had become more like a stranger to her; he was a very cynical, no-nonsense, forthright, and sometimes pessimistic lawyer who believed more in logic and law and - not fairytales and magic, and whose occupation and divorce led him to adopt a rather melancholy outlook on life. He could even sometimes be aloof towards the emotional output on other people, and any departure from logic and sensible thinking.
But what bothered Chris most of all, was that her father wanted to raise her, and her little sister, Morgan, into facing the world for what it really is; smart, realistic

Chapter 1: Adoption Day
Every morning felt just the same for Lucy Little. She slept in her bed, heavy as a rock, as if she weren't even sleeping at all.
Just then, her alarm clock went off at 7:00. Without opening her eyes, Lucy slammed the snooze button, and continued to sleep.
"It's today! It's today!" She heard her younger brother, George, cry out excitedly as he burst into the hallway.
Oh great, she remembered that today was the day they were going to adopt a new member for the Little family. For her and George; a new brother.
George was very excited.
But Lucy, she was not thrilled with this at all.
Lucy was a plain, simple, and arrogant teenager, like most of them these days, and rather reclusive. Feeling restricted by her parents, dismissive of George who enjoyed bothering her, and constantly annoyed with her family's ways, Lucy planned to run away when she turned sixteen, so she could live her own life. That was, if her parents wouldn't allow it. Over my dead body, she

The Life of Monsters: Prologue
Prologue
"Since the Middle Ages, all around the world, not one single human-being, like yourself, has ever been aware... that there are monsters living in their neighborhoods; like ghosts, witches, vampires, zombies, and werewolves, etc. You name it!
But the peculiar thing about the monsters is that they don't really look like monsters to the humans. This is one of the most important things about real monsters, so listen very carefully at what I'm about to tell you...
Monsters start out in ordinary lives as ordinary people. They dress in ordinary clothes, and go about in ordinary businesses. They live in ordinary houses, go to ordinary school, and work in ordinary jobs. So as long as their true identities remained secret, meaning normal and harmless to others, no human needed to fear them, and that monster would be safe.
Then, by the time of a monster's thirteenth birthday, comes the time for them to leave their ordinary life on Earth - better known to them as "the Human World" -

A Little Mermaid Story: Introduction
Introduction
"Once upon a time, in a far away land, lived a beautiful girl. Along with her brother and their widowed father...
Okay, it wasn't that long ago. And it wasn't really a far away land. It was the San Fernando Valley. It only looked far away because you could barely see it through the smog. But to me, growing up, the Valley was my fairytale land.
My name is Margaret Louise Carlyle. But everyone calls me "Max." I may not have that much of a normal family, but I still had the bestest friends anyone ever had. And the most wonderful boyfriend in the world...
It all started when I was at the age of seventeen. I lived with my father, Robert Carlyle, and my little brother, Kevin. Most of my friends growing up were mostly guys. Kevin was the bestest out of all of them. Being friends with the guys put me behind in makeup and fashion departments and all that stuff. But I didn't care. I never felt like I missed out on anything. I loved my friends as much as they loved me.
But my

One Daring Journey: Prologue
Prologue
It was a dark and stormy night, on a deserted island a few miles from the East Coast of America.
In a little house on a steep hill, the back door creaked open. Out came a little girl, no older than seven. A red-haired rag-doll was clutched under her arm to her chest. She looked back in the house, and backed away, making sure she wasn't being watched. The cost was clear, giving the little girl the opportunity to run over to a cliffside by the sea.
Looking back again, the girl took out a green wine bottle, which she hid behind her doll. Inside it, was a rolled up message, with the word HELP written in bold letters on the side. With all the luck she had, the little girl raised the bottle up, and dropped it into the sea below. She watched as the stormy sea swept the bottle away, out into the horizon.
(Chorus)
"Who will rescue me?"

Candy Land Synopsis
Some time in the future, I will be writing a Wizard of Oz-like fanfic on the children's board game, Candy Land. The main protagonists of the story will be those twin kids from the original design of the board game. I also gave them names; Dylan and Andrea. Our prologue begins with King Kandy, the lovable Imperial Head Bonbon and Grand jujube of Candy Land, along with his fabulous Candy Castle, mysteriously vanishing. For the evil Lord Licorice has hidden them from sight of the citizens, so he would steal everything and takeover Candy Land for himself. Now, only two special children, who must be courageous, clever, and ever so determined, would be the answer to solve the mystery of the King's disappearance, save Candy Land, and be honored as the Candy Land Kids.Next, we go to the twins, Dylan and Andrea, who live with their parents in a little house in the Big Woods. They were very poor, and very hungry. As they wish things could get better for them, a great storm approaches. The twins'
