Chapter 1: The Beginning In a far away land, long ago, lived a village called Melody Land. The kingdom was ruled by King Paris, the beloved king of Melody Land, along with his lovely wife, Queen Helen. They had filled each life of each citizen with love and joy. For years, King Paris and Queen Helen had longed for a child. Then, finally, their wish was granted. A daughter was born. A princess. And she was given the name, Aphrodite. (Chorus) "Aphrodite" Yes, they named her after the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, for they had been informed by their ancestors that their princess would grow up to become the most beautiful girl in the land. Along with a beautiful melodic voice which would fill Melody Land with more love and happiness. Then, a great holiday was proclaimed throughout the kingdom, so that all of high or low estate might pay homage to the infant princess. And our story begins on that most joyful day... Such as food, clothes, getting jobs, homes for the homeless, and even an orphanage for the orphans who lived there to be adopted. Chapter 1: Getting Ready It was a snowfall December of 1999, in Woodland, Maine, and only three days until Christmas. The Stanton family were busy, loading their suitcases and supplies in the trunk of the car. They were going to spend the holidays over at Faraway Farm, where Anna Stanton grew up with her parents. After her childhood, Anna moved out for college, where she met Jonathan, a student around her age. After graduation, they married, and gave birth to two daughters; Jane and Harriet. Jane, the eldest, was quite a normal girl for her age at thirteen. She loved her family dearly, and did everything she could to support them. Especially around Christmastime. She hadn't seen her maternal grandparents in the longest time. Probably since she was even younger than eight. She was absolutely looking forward to seeing them again, and explore their farm. Harriet, the youngest, was a normal toddler at two-and-a-half-years-old. She still had things to learn and understand properly.

Accepting the job, Alan, Hilary, and Lily had their move out of London. Despite being mostly foggy and rainy nearly everyday, Lily was quite sad to be leaving London. But yet, she mostly looked forward to seeing what America would be like. Indeed, America was just as Lily imagined it to be. The weather was sunny, all the time, all the people there were extremely nice, and there were such lovely places for Lily and her parents to visit. For many years, these two rascals have been archenemies; for the cat would always chase the mouse. But unlike most mice, this particular mouse was very clever, as he would often beat the cat at his own games. But, little did these two know that one day, the cat and mouse would have to set aside their differences and work together to help two young girls. The cost was clear, giving the little girl the opportunity to run over to a cliffside by the sea. Looking back again, the girl took out a green wine bottle, which she hid behind her doll. Inside it, was a rolled up message, with the word HELP written in bold letters on the side. With all the luck she had, the little girl raised the bottle up, and dropped it into the sea below. She watched as the stormy sea swept the bottle away, out into the horizon. Chapter 1: Mavis' WishMavis Dracula flew back to her bedroom, heartbroken by the disaster of her 118th birthday party.She had a dream of leaving the hotel to go out and explore the world. Her overprotective father, Count Dracula, had seemingly claimed to allow it. But unfortunately, behind her back, Dracula did not want her to leave and get herself killed by the humans, like her mother. So, he built a fake village not so far from the hotel, had the zombies dress up as the monster-hating townspeople to scare her off and make her stay at the hotel forever. Mavis was deeply hurt and outraged that her father could not trust her with it.Not only that, but Mavis had gotten her mother's birthday gift to her; her zing - love at first sight, with a man named Jonathan. She felt something when she met eyes with Jonathan for the first time when he accidentally knocked her down in the lobby the other night. But Dracula kept getting in the way every minute, lying and shooing her away from this man.

Some time in the future, I will be writing a Wizard of Oz-like fanfic on the children's board game, Candy Land.The main protagonists of the story will be those twin kids from the original design of the board game. I also gave them names; Dylan and Andrea.Our prologue begins with King Kandy, the lovable Imperial Head Bonbon and Grand jujube of Candy Land, along with his fabulous Candy Castle, mysteriously vanishing. For the evil Lord Licorice has hidden them from sight of the citizens, so he would steal everything and takeover Candy Land for himself. Now, only two special children, who must be courageous, clever, and ever so determined, would be the answer to solve the mystery of the King's disappearance, save Candy Land, and be honored as the Candy Land Kids.Next, we go to the twins, Dylan and Andrea, who live with their parents in a little house in the Big Woods. They were very poor, and very hungry. As they wish things could get better for them, a great storm approaches. The twins'
