BIO::::::::<><><><>
Tea:
a proficient user of all digital media forms. currently wasting away as an in-house designer who inherited all the responsibilities of design and animation and asset creation product mock up etc. here is a collage of work I do professionally in house :
my job however gifted this BFA in film/animation from CALARTS alum the ability to learn from ground up blender to Autodesk - self taught through only written and authorized support forums in respective software dev sites. and with that I am able to let loose the weird and twisted things that conspire in my imagination so much faster than with my major - and specifically my love of stopmotion. but who has the time?! well - 3D is a great way to get the ideas out and deliver beautiful results...
gpu - cpu - tea
with stopmotion comes puppets and armatures and facets of engineering that also translated to my 3D work in a helpful way. problem solving comes in the weirdest ways when you are in 3D with a history of resins epoxies clay and wire. light studies help in rendering - understanding light in general - I could go on and on....
if you made it this far you should know - above and beyond all that other garbage - I value art - period.
my wife and I started a company from home when we moved across the US, to give meaning to the mundane, a collaboration of mediums that we call "Too By Three." she is a 100% OOAK, all natural fiber based artist that designs anatomically correct animals, beautiful articulating dolls, and has designed some of the most truly "one of a kind" unique pattern making that the world hasn't seen the likes of - YET. We have a slow to start website cooking but a much stronger Instagram @@too.by.three and are across the board with the other social media.. our ETSY: toobythree.etsy.com has (as of 4/24/19) had 100+ sales to all sorts of customers - we've shipped to Australia, Malta, Germany, Sweeden, and tons of other cool places.
i'm here to vent my afterwork life and have fun -
I love deviant artists and shamefully haven't browsed on my login enough to prove it but that's why changes are coming! 2020 isn't far enough away, time to kill the year -
lets get deviant!
ANIMATIONS - STOP-MOTION-FEATURED
FINALLY - My animations for work are no longer secrets!! Checkout Taiss' hand (my bae Sangriart character featured in many renders) now her thumb/hand is in the TOGGLER animation I made with Maya - rendered with Arnold 5.2 - super proud of the work, these were made all by myself music included, spanning from 2017-2021 - <<<<<3 tea

NEW VIDEO XOXOX
This was my first animation for TOGGLER - about 5 years ago - I started 3D work in 2014 when I learned blender - after making a few animations my family business was acquired by TOGGLER and they took me on for being their in house designer, I made this animation as my first project with them, it took almost a year - the rig I built for the SNAPTOGGLE anchor was almost 100 bones to create a bendy rigid plastic look, the articulating channel constrained to the plastic straps was so difficult but it came out great - the hard work paid off - and this was the very first animation I'd done with rigs - now being seasoned in Maya for 3 years, I almost can't remember the work flow from blender <3 tea
