My heavy breath echoed in the otherwise silent hall. My legs felt as if somebody replaced them with lead. I finally brought myself to a stop, just to regain my breath. I removed my round glasses from my face. I cleaned the dirty, broken lenses only to get a glimpse of my weary face. My short black hair looked as if a cow licked it and someone tried to hide it with my bubblegum coloured hairpins. My blue eyes were watery and looked as if I could cry at any moment. My face was red with exhaustion.I hastily put my glasses back on my nose and continued down the run down hall. The wooden floors begun to creak under my weight, a new wave of fear...
