Description
Wanted to give my humanoid species a revamp. I haven't done much with them for a while but I'm A LOT better with drawing humans and the like, so I wanted to see if I could improve them a little. I ended up splitting the species into two subspecies: Plume and Scales.
I think the subspecies kinda speak for themselves eheh TTvTT basic lore still stands, as can be seen here:
As you could guess the "usually docile and friendly creatures" now applies more to plume subspecies. Scales are more aggressive and will attack when threatened, but tend to stay out of the way of humans.
Hopefully we'll be seeing some more of these guys soon >v< Anyone who already owns one can decide what subspecies they'd prefer to have their Plumadra be. The old designs seem to be more towards Plume subspecies, but can easily be changed. ALSO - Tails can vary a lot. They do not have to conform to the examples above. The only real limitation is the subspecies designation - if they are plume they have to be some kind of feather tail, if they are scales they have to be some kind of lizard tail.
Art/design/Plumadras CLOSED species belongs to me.
Made with Paint Tool SAI.

Background Info on PlumadrasThe result of a science experiment a long time ago, where cloning genes for a human, bird, some reptile, and unidentifiable species mixed accidentally. The resultant species was kept to see how they would develop and grow, and once 'born', they were raised until young adults in the laboratory. However, once they reached this rebellious age, they became impatient and didn't like being held captive, and found a way to escape. Since then, they have grown their own societies high up in the mountains, where they've developed and evolved quickly due to early mutation brought on by the accidental gene mixing (these easy mutations also allow things that wouldn't normally be considered normal to grow on the species at random once born. There is wide variation of what could occur, though the mutated genes are hard to pass on to further generations as they are usually recessive). They have strong limbs, all of which have opposable digits, and are skilled climbers. Their strong lungs allow them to
