Description
I have a lot of these shots. The lighting was just perfect one evening, for these silhouettes, that to me, look like old Japanese paper rooms, with the silhouettes behind them. Its very hard for me to explain what I mean, but it looks pretty! And the object of art is to interpret it in your own way anyway... So feel free!

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWow, I love this shot. It's minimalistic but still offers quite a lot.
The delicacy of the flower in the foreground is made evident by the wonderful focus. It sands out, and you can see, in detail, the flower and its stem. It's a beautiful subject and it's displayed brilliantly.
In the background, the slight touches of similar flowers is a nice touch; the fact that this silhouetted bit of the background is very minimal, not exceeding the dimensions of the subject, really aids this picture, letting one focus on the colored part of the background.
In terms of the gorgeous coloring of the background, they are well-captured and show a great variety. The sky, overall, appears a beautiful, dainty - indeed, somewhat Oriental - pink, but it is not simply a swath of pink. Colors from a bright white to a shade of purple that approaches blue are clear in the shot. It looks like the sun is centered against a blue, slightly clouded sky. The way it's captured mixes this all together for a smooth background, yet the background has a life of its own.
