A group of nobles have been sent a mysterious map, detailing a route to gods only know what and an X at the end of said route. They have employed other humans and Reoseans to set out and find whatever awaits at the end of this road. Draw or write about your Reosean following a map or finding a treasure. Do they keep the spoils, or turn it in to the nobles? Four vays stood together staring out into the endless desert wasteland before them. Rainsilver, Drystan, Zorica and Baldassare, all strapped up and ready for the first part of their journey, made no move. They just landed in Thedale. It was early morning but the day was already heating up. This time, their job was to head to the surge of magic marked on a map given to them by a pirate called Captain Pickles. It took some time before the team of three vayrons realized the forest they travelled in was growing darker. Emir, a stoney grey runner lit the way with just the white patches of light from his back. It was more than enough for the brothers, Azariah and Zachariah, to see by. They trotted along on either side, peering into the trees for any sign of the child they searched for. “Should we turn back?” Azariah asked. “Is there any way a child could have passed through here?” He looked up at the sky, or lack thereof. The canopy had grown so thick that the sky was no longer visible through the branches. Zach had taken the lead and was trampling the undergrowth to prepare a path for them. The following morning after the free class of Stained Glass, Zeddicus continued on his trip to enjoy the Yuletide celebrations. He sought some seclusion from the biggest part of the crowd of fellow Reoseans. The Sea Vayron made his way to a nearby forest to enjoy the scenery. He inhaled deeply, the wintery air filling his lungs. It was however not overly cold. It seemed that in Vitalus, the winters were mild. Something Zed did not mind because he did not particularly like how cold it could get in for example Roenden. As the male made his way further towards the forest, he spotted another Vayron standing at the edge, seemingly either very focused on the woods in front of him, or searching for something. Zed hesitated, would he approach the other male to start a conversation or did this Vayron escape the social gatherings to be by himself on purpose..? Thedale was buzzing with activity, more so than usually even. This phenomena attracted the assassin pair Lorelei and her human companion Isra in the first place. Their senses were honed at noticing changes, deviations of the normal, even if they were only subtle. And such a change was happening slowly throughout three of the continents of Reos. Rumors about a new danger appearing around their world. A beast new yet familiar. Something similar like this had happened in the past before but it was different this time. The legendary creature, called a Zataro, seemed to may have come back again. No one knew why, where and what it was exactly. Just that something similar like this happened before. That first time, Isra and Lorelei were still very young and hardly heard anything about it. But now they were in their prime and such a bounty like this was intoxicating not to pursue.
