CONTEST: Urban Legends (Until Dec 30th 2022)

This contest is for the group @The-Woods-Are--Dark , but all are welcome to participate.
In conformance with the group's theme, the woods are dark, the theme of the contest is urban legends. Think about what kind of horrors lurk in the woods in the dark. Could it be werewolves? The Wendigo? Or the Jersey Devil? The challenge is to create a deviation that could either be an existing urban legend, or your very own monstrosity. The contest will go from now until Dec 30th. Here are the rules:
