Studio Ghibli Fest 2023-Spirited Away (2001) (Watched in theaters on 10/28/2023) Rated: PG, 2 hrs. 05 mins., ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hayao Miyazaki's fantasy anime of a girl named Chihiro who's trapped in the spirit world and works in a bath house run by a witch named Yubaba in order to free herself and her parents, is quite an Alice in Wonderland inspired take and one that's pretty amazing for its well-done characters, engaging story, beautiful scenes, creative artwork and creatures, good animation and expressions, nice humor, lovely music and a scene of Chihiro eating while crying that left me teary-eyed. Overall, it's a wonderful film.
