RB Prequel: Older Sister-3
When you have a fever, everything feels like it's too much to deal with. That's what happened to Tamiko as she laid in bed, sick, thanks to that storm. Her father had hovered over her for one day until he had to go to work the next day. Apparently, there's someone else in the house, but Tamiko barely recalls who they were.
They're an older lady, though. She had an accent that was a little different than her father's and step-mother. Not a lot different but a little. The lady was singing some song that reminded Tamiko of her grandma- her mom's mom. She used to do that too when Tamiko was sick.
She ate some bland soup she didn't care for but didn't complain about it either. Everything just felt too hot and too much of a bother. She doesn't even remember when she was given a bath and changed clothes. She also doesn't remember who decided to just haphazardly part her hair in such a way to give her plaits in order for the air to get to her scalp more easily.

Ikuko Tsukino was actually a little concerned about her daughter, Usagi. Even after that awful break up, her daughter had shown great maturity in saying it really was her own fault and that Mamoru had nothing to do with it. Though she didn't go into detail, Ikuko often wondered what it was that changed her daughter so profoundly. For the next four years, she watched as Usagi matured into womanhood completely. Though she retained some of her childish nature and her exuberance for life, she seemed to have toned down her radical moods.
It seemed, to any who didn't know her, that she was simply becoming a responsible adult.
Her coming of age ceremony with her friends punctuated that well. All five young women had grown beautifully and their friendship seemed to have become even stronger.
