Nosy Dolls: Trick or Sleep - Part 1
“Alright girls, this is it.” Samantha Gray grinned, pulling out a flashlight and clicking on the beam. “Showtime.”
“Ah, okay…” Marsha Maynard adjusted the large white glasses on her face, peering through the darkness at the shadowy shape of the looming mansion before them. “But…I mean, do we really have to do this at night? Wouldn’t it be way easier to do it during the day?”
“The lights have only been seen in the old Jackson place at night,” Tracie McNeil said, slapping Marsha on her shoulder. “It’s the perfect time for an investigation, Marsha.”
“Yeah, but…” Marsha swallowed, looking up and down the street they stood on nervously. “I mean, do we really have to do this on Halloween?”
“Oh come on, Marsh,” Sam said with a laugh. “What are you afraid of? Ghosts?”
“Uh, no…” Marsha twisted her hands nervously around the flashlight she held.
“Nothing to be afraid of,” Tracie said confidently, crossing her arms. “If it is a ghost then we’ll clobber it.”
