Twenty-nine years ago, a film was released. Like the director who made it, the film was grand, bold, ambitious. It was, meant to be. In 1993, Jurassic Park pushed what was possible in the realm of special effects and made dinosaurs look and feel alive. Numerous sequels soon followed, showing the beauty and danger of genetic power. After Jurassic Park III, the series was put on hold before being revived in 2015 with the release of Jurassic World, which, like the original, took the world by storm. Fallen Kingdom, despite its less than stellar reviews, took the series in a new direction, destroying the island and bringing the dinosaurs to the mainland, asking the question, can humans and dinosaurs coexist? Now, four years after the destruction of the island, and dinosaurs running rampant in our world, the series would culminate in a life changing event, to save humanity from extinction.
