I love the Weekenders. So freakin’ much. I think it’s one of the most criminally underrated cartoons. Again, if you've been long on this account, you already know this. If you're new here, now you know. But I also love Christmas.

Except for that song. Damn you Spotify....So with me trying to hunt out for me to review a new batch of holiday specials, I picked up The Weekenders' holiday special: The Worst Holiday Ever.

The Weekenders Is A Forgotten Disney Gem
Here's something interesting, most of my childhood cartoons are mostly comprised of Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, but if there's one channel that I consider to be my favorite on cable is Disney Channel. Not only is there a special place in my heart for some childhood favorites that I grew up on, both old and new, and they are a point of where they can get rewatched years later.
However, there are some notable Disney cartoon classics that I have yet to watch that I ended up loving it such as Gargoyles, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, and Recess. But if you ask me what I consider one of the most overlooked Disney cartoons that Disney Plus seems to forget about years later. What is it? Well, it's none other than The Weekenders.
To me, it's one of those shows that it's really hard to hate. Created by Doug Langdale, who worked on shows for the Mouse House like Darkwing Duck and Aladdin: The Animated Series, and is the creator of Dave the Barbarian and the co-creator of the Earthworm Jim
