Dark Brotherhood: Ancient Blood 067 (Remastered)
Chapter 67:
"Gone"
Cicero was running on pure adrenaline from the chaotic yet rewarding skirmish with half a dozen Whiterun guards and several off-duty Stormcloak soldiers. He couldn't tell how much collateral damage was done, but it was definitely enough to get his face on a wanted poster. He knew he was too low on stamina to continue evading capture, and they'd surely put him to death on the spot for the hassle. He had to get some distance before he could rest. He was fast, but he was quite outnumbered.
Temporarily disoriented after sustaining a blow to the head, Cicero staggered through the city gates spitting blood and trying to keep his eyes locked on the horizon to stay balanced. The yelling of the guards echoed in his ears as he leaped over the stone barrier and dropped down to the lower level of the path. His landing wasn't as soft as anticipated despite attempting to break his fall with a well-timed roll. It was hard not to acknowledge the horrible sound of his knee

Till Death Bring us Together
Cicero held his breath as he watched Gabriella press her weight against the great stone gargoyle, secretly hoping that she would push to hard and fall to her death. He was oh so glad that he had convinced the Listener to take him on this contract with them. Ha! He could still remember the look on Gabriella’s face when the Listener finally gave in. It was… priceless.
But no priceless expression was of more value to Cicero than this precious time spent with the Listener. She was right next to him, flat against the wall the wall to keep away from view, and she was… so very close to him. Even the thought of the word made shivers run down Cicero’s spine; closeness. He hadn’t been this close to someone since he accidentally fell face first into Astrid, and that had ended with him getting slapped across the head.
Gabriella gave the gargoyle one final push, and it fell from the wall, presumably onto the head of Vittoria Vici, the bride to be, or that was at least what Cicero guessed from

A Matter of Upmost Importance.
Cicero came flying down the hallway at the Dawnstar Sanctuary, before face planting into the wall and letting out a pained cry.
“What’s the matter now, Cicero?” Asked Nazir wearily, putting down the card game he was playing with Babette.
“It’s a disaster Nazir!” Cicero said, “Cicero has failed, he has failed the Listener he is useless, USELESS!” Cicero tugged at the points on his hat in futility.
“Cicero, the Listener is about the only person who likes you, come on, you can’t let her down! It’s impossible.” Nazir soothed. Really, it was ambiguous as to if the listener actually liked Cicero, but Cicero obviously had a not-so-secret crush on the Listener; and although Nazir despised the little man for being a complete annoyance, he did still have somewhat of a heart.
“Really? You think the Lister likes humble Cicero?” Cicero said, his normally pale cheeks flushing red, “Oh but that’s even worse! Cicero was going to make the listener sweetroles because he knows how much she

Chapter 5:
Abigail had shown Cicero to the old community centre while Harvey had gone to get beds, and now they were busily checking the place out, well Harvey and Abigail were. Cicero was busily taking a nap.
“Harvey come look at this!” Called Abigail. She was gazing at a strange yellow plate, written in a language she didn’t recognise, with various random objects positioned around it in a sort of circle. “Maybe this is what that farmer, what was her name, ‘Jean’ was working on?”
“Oh no.” Said Harvey as he looked upon the arrangement of colourful stones and rotting food. “We should get this all cleared up.”
“Wait, no!” Hissed Abigail, “There are places missing, I think if we compete it something will happen.”
“Well, what do you think the missing items are, then?” Harvey asked in frustration at the smell of rotting fruit and fish.
“That might tell us.” Shrugged Abigail, pointing at the plate.
“Abigail, I don’t think anyone could translate that.” Harvey

Chapter 4: The Hanged ManAs I entered the city of Whiterun, a man came running up to me "I was told to deliver this letter too you. Your hands only". The man handed me a small roll of parchment. Then he ran off again. I shrugged it off and stuffed the letter down into my pocket. I ventured further into the town of Whiterun and then went for the town's nearest inn.
The Bannered Mare it said on the sign. Oh well, it's an inn. So the name doesn't really matter that much.As I entered I was met with music and people laughing. It was nice to be somewhere warm, but the noise, I could do without.
I went over to a woman, who I presumed was the own...
