In just a few hours, it'll be Christmas again."Emerald: "I know! I wish it would come now, eee, I'm so excited!"Ruby: "I think we noticed."Sapphire: "How's about we all share a Christmas story together? That'll help pass the time."Beatrice: "I know just the one. Xmas Special 2024 | December 25: Tiny Movie Night
Although some universes were a few years “ahead of” or “behind” others, their calendars were around the same time of year. In seven universes, Earth was quite different in each.
The night before the Winter Solstice (as it was in the Northern Hemisphere), the deities overseeing each of those seven incarnations of Earth messed with the dreams of several tiny “people”, not all of which were organic despite all being alive and sapient, from each of those universes.
One of those tiny people was Edo Newman, a young Kinnis boy. Kinnises resembled humans but were fifteen times smaller, had dove gray mouse ears, insect wings, and mouse tails that emoted like dog tails.
In the dream, rather than be weird as usual, Zineas, the goddess assigned to oversee the version of Earth he was from, appeared and said, “Edo, I have an offer for you. I’d like you to watch five movies with me,”
“Sure thing!” he said.
“Wow… I expected you to require more persuasion,”
“I’ve met you before.”
