My Bio

I was artistically born as a non-professional photographer in 1980s and from 2000s I also dedicated myself to painting (you can find my works on the "surfapaiting" page which I invite you to visit (https://www.deviantart.com/surfapainting). My oldest photographic images were made with the Contax lens and Contax or Yaschica cameras on Ilford (Pan F, Hp5, Delta 400) or Kodak (TMax) films; all the images were rigorously developed and printed on photographic paper (Ilfor "multigrade") by myself in my darkroom. Later I got to work with medium format (4x6 and 6x6) using the Kiev 88, the "twin-lens" Seagul and finally the Mamiya RB67, but fatally the time of analogic photography was running out, so I took a small number of medium format photos. Then in the early 2000s, I went digital with Nikon. I don't go into more about the technical aspects because I consider them unimportant.

The most important thing is "to see the image" ..... this has always been ......... from Niépce (1826) to today.
