I guess I'm replacing my last "i'm bad at journaling" entry with a new "i'm bad at updates of all sort!" entry. The good news is...I'm alive! I'm still an artist! I didn't do a lot of art on my own last semester, which was my first at Indiana University, but this semester I've started doing a lot more (and does it ever feel great.) I don't really know where I want to go with my style or what I'm doing artistically...at all...between my studio art major (more on that in a sec) and just trying to figure out generally what I want to do personally and career-wise. Whatever I'm doing though, I should hopefully start updating more often, and if ...

I always have been. Anyway... Sorry for the lack of new art/updates lately; my excuse is getting ready for college, which starts on Monday. (Quietly freaking out.) I'm definitely majoring in studio art!--but this semester my only art class is 3D, so I don't know how much of that I'll post. Hopefully, I'll have time to do some personal work on the side too. And I'll try to get some finished work up soon. One of my main problems is that oil paintings are hard to photograph and impossible to scan, but I'll see if I don't have some files stashed away somewhere. This man at my church wants me to design (for money) a logo for a company which he's starting. He told me it was supposed to be a company for taking care of other companies' internet marketing or something? But now he thinks that's a bad idea, so he doesn't quite know what he's going to do with it. Therefore, he doesn't quite know what kind of a logo he wants. At this point in our conversation I had a phone call, and then we had to leave and I was trying to politely end the conversation (note: I'm not good at *politely* cutting off conversations with an insistent interlocutor) and was only half listening as he continued explaining the idea...
