I absolutely loved the song (and episode) "Winter Wrap Up" from the first season of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic! So last year, I decided to draw human Twilight Sparkle from one of the scenes in the song. Unfortunately,
died last year, and I stopped working on it. This year, I finished it.
The original version from last year had a couple more random human ponies and the characters were a bit more spread out. I rearranged it a bit so it could be a bit easier to work on.
This is the scene at the end of "Winter Wrap Up" when Twilight, in a spotlight, turns to each of the three teams of ponies (Weather, Animal, and Plant) and they all disappear into the blackness, leaving Twilight and Spike, who isn't in this pic, alone and sad. The other "ponies" are in brown because they aren't meant to be anypony in particular, though I originally meant for one of the pegasi in the distance to be Derpy. Only their vests have color to emphasize the three teams. It's kind of like the scene where Twilight and Spike wander past disembodied team vests, except they're actually worn by human ponies.
This is my very first piece colored in Paint Tool Sai, since I finally got the trial version for now! I'm actually really proud of it, so please enjoy!

Nice work on this piece. I do like the detailing on her face, particularly the eyes. I feel you did a good job of capturing the emotions she's feeling. And the colouring is very nicely done as well. Great work on this
