Everything about this piece is spot-on and it's by far one of the best of Spock that I've ever seen. You've captured the expression on his face and the hidden emotion in his eyes perfectly, and your shading and colouring is done with a serious amount of skill, if I had to find any fault with this I'd have to say you could've made the top of the drawing a bit lighter so it would be easier to see the top of Spock's head, but that really is nothing and doesn't change the impact this drawing has on me, you have an amazingi gift and this is absolutly stunning, congratulations!

This painting is by far one of the best I have seen over the years. To begin with, the striking contrast between the black and grey background, against Spock's pale skin, and also against the luminous blue of the gas chains that bind his wrists is absolutly perfect, and really brings the painting to life. What also instantly draws my attention to this painting is the fantastic definition on Spock's muscles, chest and back. I've found that drawing shoulders and back muscles is a very hard thing to do, and when it's done correctly (like in this painting) it really does inspire me, and I feel that the technique on your painting particularly, is right on the mark.
