I've gotten strong enough that yesterday I covered nearly a mile in the pool! :la: The pool I go to for doing laps is 25 yards long, and I did 32 laps (64 lengths). I alternate 100 yards (2 laps) of freestyle with breaststroke and backstroke so my pattern ends up being freestyle, breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke, and so on for as long as I can manage. Yesterday I covered 800 yards of freestyle, 600 breaststroke, and 200 backstroke, totaling out to 1600 yards. My next goal is a full mile (1760 yards, or just over 35 lap) and then I'm aiming for 2000 yards! :giggle: I can't even begin to articulate how much better...
