Theo flops into his uncle’s side harshly, eliciting a loud oof as the wind is knocked out of the older tom. “I don’t get why we haven’t evolved thumbs yet.” Theo complains, loudly. “What?” Teddy wheezes. “Thumbs.” Theo emphasizes, waving his paws around like that will help. “Theo,” Teddy says with the infinite patience of an uncle whose nephew is too smart for his own good and forgets that everyone around him isn’t always on his level, “I don’t know what thumbs are.” Theo huffs, because it should be obvious. “They’re opposable digits that humans had on their paws that they used to manipulate objects. These days, when Theo dreams he dreams of ice. It’s always the same dream. He’s in a maze. He can see his reflection in every single wall, on and on into infinity. Theo upon Theo, cast out and replicated so that for every step he takes, a thousand mirror images follow his steps. He isn’t afraid, in the dream. He probably should be, but he isn’t. It’s beautiful, after all. He has seen so many horrible, terrible, ugly things in these trials. But he’s also seen such beauty, such incredible sights and beautiful new creatures. This is like that, the ice feels like home. Feels good, safe. Walled in with no one but himself for company. His breath fogs in the air, but he doesn’t feel cold. One of the perks of being a purple soul, he always supposes. He tries to remember - did his father get cold? Theo doesn’t even have to think to exercise his power anymore. He plucks small rocks off of the ground and juggles them absently above his head. His sharp eyes catalogue their movements with satisfaction, noting that the larger one is more sluggish than the smaller. He can juggle four of them at once before his attention wavers, too split up to continue. He’s slow with them when he adds more as well, mind catching on itself and leading the rocks to stutter in his mental grasp like they’re glitching. It’s strange as well. He can lift four small pebbles, or four larger rocks weighing as much as several pounds, but only four at a time. He has some hypothesis regarding mental ability and multi-tasking. If he trains long enough, will he be able to move five? Six? More? He absently weaves the rocks between his feet as he walks, and it’s only a little more effortful to make sure that they’re in rhythm with his gait so that they don’t hit his feet, before turning and hurling them as

My Bio

My name's Soul, I'm a nb aroace person and use they/them pronouns but you're fine if you use she/her as well! I'm a psychology major and enjoy getting way too in depth with my characters.

I've been in rp groups since I was 11! Primarily warrior cats inspired ones but I've begun branching out somewhat! I enjoy writing probably a little more than art but I do consider myself as a hobby artist! I tend to overthink my characters backgrounds and the NPCs in them and then those NPCs become played characters because I have exactly no self control whoops.

I'm on Discord as Soulykins (though those I'm in groups with would probably recognize me more as ♡ HeySoulSister ♡ lmao. But I'm happy to meet everyone! I don't do requests and I probably don't do collabs just because I don't consider myself as an especially strong artist ;v;

Sin is my sister! She's a year and a half older than me and an exceptionally talented vet student. We're very close and she actually got me on dA in the first place! She's a constant inspiration for me to improve my own art and knowledge, and deserves all the recognition. I love her a whole lot!
