Hope’s tail lashed. She knew exactly what Lumo had done. He had put all of the dragons who couldn’t fight into this ‘safe place’. Hope could fight and she knew it. There’s nothing worse than the feeling of helplessness that Autumn felt. His body felt so cold. He would freeze to death if he was here any longer. The guards that were with them went down to save as many Icewings that they could. Autumn was sure that they were dead. They flew faster towards the southern edge of the kingdom where they could get warm again. His wings were so cold that they hurt. Autumn had to keep flying though. He tried to block out the noises of screaming Icewings. He tried to focus on the sound of the wind. As they flew further from the kingdom, the sounds became less loud. Soon, the screams were hardly a ring in Autumn’s ears. They landed in a cave closer to the southern border. Autumn collapsed as soon as he landed, part from exhaustion and part from how cold it was. “Where’s Aurora?” Hope asked. They looked around, but she was gone. Aurora jumped in shock when the Skywing fell. They laid there in a puddle of blood. She heard a scream from someone behind her. The orange eyed Skywing who had come with her to the palace had tears streaming down his face. He ran over to the unconscious Skywing and sobbed. “What is the meaning of this?!” Queen Glisten exclaimed. Aurora approached the body and the crying Skywing. She saw that the Skywing had a bag around their neck. She took a scroll out and read it aloud. Hello to the finder of this scroll, I am a loyal Skywing guard. I come with news. Falcon stared in awe at what lay ahead. It was Lumo! That’s not what surprised him though. Lumo was there, wrapped in a tangle of plants like how Falcon and Wendigo were back in the cave. Is Hope here? How? I thought she was knocked out or something? Falcon wondered. He looked around. “Get me out of here!” Lumo hissed at Ray. Helplessly, Falcon saw Ray claw at the plant with one talon and carry the baby with the other. Falcon flew to Autumn. “Autumn, do you think you can try to do your plant magic?” Falcon asked. “I don’t know, but I’ll try,” Autumn said. He closed his eyes and winced. Something was happening and it clearly was bad. He opened his eyes again, but they were a deep orange. “Ancient magic has been awaken, with evil intentions to keep the taken. They lock him in prison where he slowly freezes to death. Two, Falcon, being a super fast Skywing, manages to catch up to him and reasons with him. With this future, either Lumo listens or Lumo accidentally kills Falcon. Three, Lumo safely gets to the queen and reasons with her. They agree on evacuating the Kingdom and they manage to save the entire tribe,” Hope explains. “All of those futures are bad, except for number three. Ray was the one leading everyone through the town. He didn’t mind the humidity too much, but it certainly bothered him. The town sort of reminded him of the Scorpion Den. He did have a life before being an assassin. He most certainly wasn’t the bravest dragonet. He was born missing his back left leg, but it didn’t bother him. It certainly bothered his parents though.
