Cinnamon and Smudge, Gerbils

This commission was a little different!  A friend asked me to draw a portrait of her daughter's two gerbils, Cinnamon and Smudge.  Unfortunately one of them died recently and her daughter wanted a picture to commemorate both of them together.

I've definitely never looked at a gerbil's face in so much detail before, but this was a nice change of pace for a commission
