Description

Since this piece, I have made a much improved Triceratops muscle model. Check it out:

The *other* super-popular Upper Cretaceous North American dinosaur. I've been wanting to do an updated Triceratops muscle study since before I started the T. rex, so I'm happy to finally share this! Specifically, this is Triceratops prorsus, scaled to the largest partial remains. Multiple sources aided in the previsualisation of the skeleton prior to muscle reconstruction, including Hatcher's historic Ceratopsia monograph, the Smithsonian's downloadable public domain 3D scans of their current Triceratops mount, my own photoscans of Triceratops and other ceratopsid fossils that I've examined in the Natural History Museum, and a handful of modified elements from a model by Stuart Pond.
