"Leo, an alien from Planet Elgaria, crash-lands into Sinnoh with a mission: to conquer the region’s Pokémon League and pave the way for a total Elgarian takeover. Accompanied by his failed clone experiment, Cosmo, he assumes the identity of a recently deceased trainer. Unfortunately for Leo, nepotism baby Dawn is able to see right through his disguises, and will stop at nothing to protect her home. But with her reputation as a crazy conspiracy theorist, no one seems to want to help her."

RULES

1. If a Pokémon faints, it must be boxed.

2. Only catch one Pokémon per area.

   1. No duplicates.

   2. If you encounter a shiny, it may be caught.

3. Nickname any Pokémon you catch.

4. Legendaries, gifted and traded Pokémon are allowed to be used.

5. For every Gym Badge you earn, generate five random numbers that correspond to a list of rules. These rules range from beneficial to detrimental, and don't stack.

I've been following nuzlocke comics for over a decade now. I've always dreamt of starting my own, but nothing stuck due to piss-poor planning and losing interest. I replayed the games several times, tried a few terrible ROM hacks, until I finally decided to just go with Platinum for nostalgia purposes. Originally, this was going to be a shitpost comic inspired by the runs of the early 2010s, but I got a little too invested in the characters to make it fast-paced.

Believe it or not, I actually hadn’t watched Invader Zim prior to starting this. It was only until a friend informed me of similar my protagonists are to Zim and Dib that I decided to check it out.

DISCLAIMER

My main inspirations in creating Sinnoh Must Die! are Invader Zim and Hazbin Hotel, so expect a bit of meanspirited humour and edge here. Despite the comic's title, I don't actually hate Sinnoh.

This comic includes content that may be unsuitable for younger audiences, such as:

• Occasional strong language, including the use of slurs

• Gore

• Misgendering

• Themes of isolation and discrimination

• Implied sexual assault
