#3: Jessie, James and Meowth - Pokemon
Almost the end folks, and what better way to mark the third place then with an infamous trio, yes it's everyone's favorite fuck ups! The worst members of Team Rocket ever; Jessie, James and Meowth!
These are characters I've meant to add ever since I started my countdowns and oddly, despite my love of the characters, I've never drawn them til now. They actually turned out very fun to draw and this turned out really well, but anyways. A list like this was practically made for Team Rocket. Lovable foils that aren't bad, but try so hard to be, but unlike similar characters like the Amoeba Boys, these guys have really pulled out some show stoppers to try and win, each time losing in brilliant ways!
These guys are the epitome of loser villains in every since of the term! They are terrible. They NEVER win! And that's why we love them. You may be wondering as to why I put them over TV's Frank. As great as Frank was, he was just a piece of a show that had so many great, funny features to it that you really didn't watch it for JUST him. Team Rocket however was essentially the ONLY reason anyone would or should watch the Pokemon show. Episode after episode they came in, comically stupid and flamboyant and failing in style. These guys always captured our hearts and remain some of the most loved villains of all time... however, BEING Jessie, James and Meowth I couldn't have them win, or even be second place. Thus, they got the honorary place of 3rd and nothing more!

The only time the Team Rocket trio ever won a battle against Ash (and legitimately no less) was the Sun and Moon series, especially after Jessie caught Mimikyu and Ash (at the time) only had Pikachu and Rowlet. How ironic despite them being Pokémon's version of the Pilaf Gang from the Dragon Ball franchise or even Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) series (even though the TR trio is later taken away from the scene by Berwear following finally defeating Ash and his Pikachu), especially as this particular Mimikyu had some kind of hatred towards Pikachu believe it or not which contributed to it.
