My Alternative History - East Asia and Oceania

Hi! :-D My newest drawing is the map of East Asia, Oceania and Australia. It's the same timeline as the one from my map of Europe. Here are some historical changes: 

1. Nationalists have won the Civil War in China, but they couldn't beat the rest of Mao's Army in former Manchukuo - thanks to the Soviet asistance for Communists. Because of that, the Civil War de facto never ended. The Republic of China quickly annect Tibet, and Eastern Mongolia, after the civil war in 40's. The years of Chang Kai Shek rule have made China very corrupted and poor, but Generalissimus hes been distracting  people from this, by large military campaingns - The Great Korean War, India-China War and Indochina... But since the death of Chang Kai Shek, and the beggining of new economical system (The nationalist version of Dengism) - China started to be more, and more powerful, and now, this is one of the strongest countries in the world - both in economy and military (The only countries that can compete with Nowadays China are Russia and USA). The hugest army on the planet is very useful, because the danger on the north - Chinese Army is ALWAYS ready to fight with their crazy neighbour. One day, who knows, maybe the Nationalist Army will finally kill the communist devil forever, in the one, final unification war... 

2. The Japanese Army during WW II wasn't so cruel (The development of Army tradition was different in this timeline) and the Nankin and other massacres never happened - because of this, the Allies were more soft to Japan - The Empire kept Pacific colonies and South Kuryl Islands - but Japan had to give back all dominions on Continent. The Imperial Army also weren't dissolved, and it hepled ONZ forces really much during Korean Campaign, and during Indochina war. Nowadays Japan is modern, yet traditional state - one of the global powers - Yet, the Japanese are took one lesson from Americans - They are less cruel to themselves, and the depersion is not so high like in our timeline. 

3. The People's Republic of Manchuria - The most terryfing and strange regimes on Earth - ruled by Mao's dynasty since the great Civil War, this state is perceive as the biggest danger for World's Peace. The Chemical Weapons, Atomic Bombs, The most fanatic Army on Earth and Maoism as the rulling ideology... There are also rumors, that Manchuria has been experimenting on people for yaears to create the Supreme Soliders. But what's the truth, we will probably never know. The onlu ally of this country is Russia, but the Alliance is slowly ending (Because of madness of Manchurian Supreme Leader). Who knows what future will bring... 

4. The Korean Republic was born in pain and blood - The Japanese occupation (Not so brutal like in our timeline, but still very hard) and the Civil War between South and North rulled by Kim Ir Sen, and finally the attack of Manchurian Army, that devasteted the North regions of country...  But thanks to the strong will of Korean nation and American help (The Japanese contributions also helped) the Republick has risen from ashes, and now, it's one of technological giants - The serious problem however, is being the neighbour of the most dangerous state on Earth - that's why te goverment sped so much resources for Military budget - Modern Fortifications on the border, bunkers under cities, and Hightly technological armours for Soliders - Korea is ready for final war every day, and every hour.

5. Australia is the last conservative dominium of Great Britain - the traditional family, religion and christian culture is secure by the state - this situation is hightly strange for the western country, and it's the reason why Australia is criticize by another States of Commowealth - Especially Canada and New Zealand. But, despite being potrtate as the worst place to live on Earth by leftist media, the Australia is the most calm, and quiet states of western world - The Aborigenians and their religion are know treat with huge respect, and the White Australians help to recover the native culture of the Continent - not only for Natives, but also for their own children, and the culture of the whole country. Quite good place I think. 

6. Indochina Federation had VERY bloody history - being attacked by China, USA and France was very, very hard to deal with - the only thing, that saved this country, was the help from other communist states (Poland, GDR, Romania and Manchuria sent the resources in the form of Soliders, while SOviet Union and the rest hepled economically. It's miracle, that it didn't ended as WW III, Finally, in 1975, the Peace Conferance in Paris was signed - The Indochina Federation had to give the south region of penisula to France, as the mandat teritory, but the France on the other hand had to pay some reparations. Now, the Federation is stronger, and ready to strike, if anyone would dare to touch her again- The economy and the military has been modernised since the end of the war to this day. 

7. Thailand defeated the Myanmar after this country gained independence for Britain, and took away their southern teritories - This Kinghdom is considered as the the succesor of Japanese Imperial Army in this region - Even the modern uniform of Thai Army are very, very similiar to the Japanese ones, from WW II. Imperialistic ideology. 

8. Mongolia is gone - because of Civil War in 40's between Communist government and Japanese Colaborators, the Country has been destroyed and divided by two neighbours after the war - by Soviet Union and China. The situation of Mongols is however not so bad, as it could to be - In modern Russia exists autonomic Western Mongolian Republic, while in China there is Autonomic Province of TRUE Mongolia (Like the Chinese like to say). 

9. Persian Empire still stands strong against Islamic radicalism, and western coruption - The Pahlavi dynasty is keeping the Country in good condition between two worlds - The Western, and the Eastern one.
