    Once again, I am sorry for the really, really late journal update.  :cry:Summer flew past and once again the change of seasons is upon us.  In the mornings, I've been sitting at the computer with a cup of coffee and watching the leaves blow by.  What a relaxing thing to do, yet I know that the beautiful colors of fall will disappear, and soon it will be snowflakes blowing past.  Then I'll really need that hot cup of coffee!I'd like to share with you some of my favorite pictures that are reminisce of Fall.  Please keep in mind that I've never "featured" anyone before, and have no idea what I'm doing.  So... wish me luck. SOME FALL FAVOR...

    Sorry about not updating my journal for a um... couple of months.   It's way past time to do so.       Winter you were good for a while, but it's so nice to see green again.  I always enjoy Spring in spite of the yearly allergies.  Because of late frosts, the our lilac bushes only bloom every 3 - 4 years.  This year some of lilacs actually bloomed and the scent was wonderful!  I took some photos and want to share them with you.    Then it happened, on Mother's Day....    The snow dumped on our lilacs, our snowball bush that was just starting to bloom, and gave our house that Christmas look.  But now it's gone.  We still have a few lila...

Just wanted to say "Hello, the top of the morning to you... and have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!"Spring is almost here, and it's a beautiful day with the temperature close to 70 degrees, with bright sunshine, and scattered cloulds.  I'm thinking fondly of green trees, flowers, and chirping birds.  I refuse to think about the usual spring allergies or the yearly spring blizzard that arrives once the trees have their leaves.  For now it's gorgeous outside and life is good.As they say: no matter how long the Winter, Spring is sure to follow.
