A small creature finds its light for the first time from a small crack and as the crack grows larger a voice of young boy can be heard "Look Dad! It is hatching!". The small creature sees in front of it a young boy with an adult man. "But dad that is not a Pikachu!" the young boy says with a disappointed look. The man replies "Yes but it is its pre-evolved form, Pichu" the man adds "If you take good care of it, it will evolve into a Pikachu in no time". The boys smile came back and started patting the confused Pichu. The boy fed the little Pokemon and played with it but the little Pichu never evolved.
