I will be ending my daily art (the last one being on 4-10-19) due to having neck pain that put me out for several days. So, I'm a little too far behind to "catch up" on doing the daily sketches. But, that doesn't mean that I will not be uploading any art, in fact, I was wanting to shift attention towards bigger projects I'm working on (ones that take more than one day to create) so, I will do that. I will also be uploading similar art to my daily art that I've been doing... just not every day.

I am fortunate that my place did not burn in the recent Tubbs and Nuns fires in Sonoma County (Santa Rosa), and I am home and able to continue my artwork! So on that note, I'm hoping to start getting back to some normalcy, but that isn't easy when many friends and co-workers have lost their homes. My workplace was right in the middle of the devastating Tubbs fire, but surprisingly (and thankfully) survived. A few things burnt (like some vehicles) as well as plenty of smoke damage, but at least the animals survived! It is like a little oasis in the sea of burnt wildlands and houses...

I will be suspending my daily inktober drawings until further notice. I'm currently under mandatory evacuation, the second time in this last week due to the dangerous Tubbs and now Nuns Fires.I've been surrounded by fires, and have been within 3 miles of active fires twice from different directions. Starting last Sunday Night/Early Monday morning the Tubbs fire, like a horrible monster, roared in with wind gusts up in the 60 mph devastated many homes and businesses here in Santa Rosa. Including many friends, co-workers, and family.I'm hoping they will lift the mandatory evacuation by the end of this week. So far my house still stands!
