I'm having loads of fun working with EVA foam and Plastidip lately!
Our park has a lot of great loaner gear, but only one small shield, so I made another. Again, I was going for a life size tabletop miniature look, so I kept the device simple and exaggerated the wood grain. This one also has a broad, flat area behind the rim I've been using as a sort of cheat sheet, scribbling the incantations for some of the spells commonly used by classes with access to small shields.
