Spreading the Flames

Some time ago I wrote in my ID info that some content I post will be offensive towards xtian religion, welp that time has come now. I had the privilege to see the work in progress of my friend Lapis' piece and knew pretty soon after seeing it that I wanted to draw something like it too. More precisely a picture to go along with it. So we discussed that and last week I decided it was time I finally draw this. Perhaps surprising for some but I strongly share my friend's feelings on the topic of that specific religion, though his hatred does burn brighter and for good reason as well.

Now before I have people showing up with pitchforks and torches in the comments I would like to remind everyone that this is merely a picture and I have the right to express myself in art however I want. I didn't actually go burn a church, nor punch a religious person or what not.
I know not everyone wants to start a fight, that there are open minded individuals out there. But I also know there is a lot of those who immediately get offended and indignant. If you don't like something, then just move on, I'm not here to start a fight either.

Most of you don't know the reasons why I hate xtian religion so much and I'm not gonna go into detail here cause if I did that we'd be here til next week. If you do want to know however feel free to drop me a note. I'm just gonna point out that this picture wasn't done because "burning ch*rches iz da shit yo" or cause I need to polish up my "edge lord" image. I do have valid reasons. As a bit of trivia, I was raised neutrally by two atheists who didn't believe in anything but neither did they forbid me from believing in anything nor did they discourage it. So it was the religion itself that made me hate it although I started out as a neutral individual.

However my policy remains that as long as others don't try to shove their belief down my throat we can get along. I don't want to discriminate anyone because of it, but I won't tolerate having it purposefully pushed in my direction. And no, nothing you say can change my mind, I have heard enough already and I know which side I stand on.
