Rolmir

A new face around town, Rolmir is part of Indrel’s backstory, he was a fellow soldier in the Kharastan army and served as something of a mentor to the younger folk there, including Indrel even tho purple moff was there mainly to help with everyone’s mental health than directly engage combat. But in Kharastan wars everyone needs to be ready to engage combat.

Rolmir was somewhat of a gentle giant, he had a very kind and patient disposition yet could also kill quickly and ruthlessly, he was of the soldier caste and as such was not someone to underestimate. Fully trained Kharastan soldiers are terrifying and among the largest moths in my stories, and unlike most moths have developed a mutation that gives them natural armor. Indrel is not of the soldier caste and lacks the genetic alterations of those bloodlines, hence why he full fluff.

At the point him and Indrel met, Rolmir was already determined to spend the rest of his life serving in the army, having lost his battlemate already, he knew he would find no peace outside and it is surprising he survived as long as he did. Eventually though he does get killed in battle during Indrel’s service (Indrel was in his mid 20es at the time), having his head clean shot off by a projectile. But we do have a few AUs now where he does survive, the damaged antenna and scarring on that side of the face is in fact only present in those AUs since it’s what remains of the deadly show he narrowly dodged. His battlemate survives in some of those versions too and they’re happily married then.
