Short video about my latest project 'Between the Lights'. It was inspired by the luminous trees Telperion and Laurelin of J.R.R. Tolkiens SIlmarillion.

I was born and grew up in Lübben, a town in the heart of the mystical Spreewald biosphere reserve located south-east of Berlin.
Since 2009 I have been devoting my free time to painting and exhibiting.
I trained to be a Bossierer (repairer and assembler of porcelain figurines) at the Meissen porcelain manufactory, the oldest one in Europe. In the course of my apprenticeship programme, I completed drawing school and took basic lessons in the art of moulding with Jörg Danielczyk, head sculptor at Meissen, and the young talented sculptor Maximilian Hagstotz.
The growing demands of my art made it possible for me to quit my job in 2017 in order to fully pursue my calling.
Today, I live and work in my studio in Dresden.
Thank you very much Elizabeth.
