Description
Amadeus, half-brother of Rakshe (White).
A pure-blooded representative of the Sangar subrace, the Teomerakt. High Priest of the Ashakar cult, Supreme Saure's of the Dark Sands clan, and later Saor (King).
A fanatic obsessed with the purity of blood and the superior race, convinced of his chosenness by the god in the form of the three-eyed Serpent Ashakar. A cruel psychopath who feels neither remorse nor compassion. He had a high intellect and an aptitude for science, but his obsession with destiny drove him mad.
The extent of his madness can be seen in the way he destroyed the entire line of his family dynasty. He executed his own father and sister for treason. He poisoned his mother's lover with poison. He cut out his mother's eyeballs when she could no longer bear the monster her son was turning into. He abused and chained his brother, treating him like an animal or an object.
I have very mixed feelings about his personality. Amadeus is not exceptionally evil and in his youth he was very sensitive and creative. He was interested in architecture, music and botany. He loved to play the harp and spend time in the garden.
He also had a strong bond with his grandfather, who acted as a father figure to him and supported him in all his endeavors. Amadeus' father, Salgir, chose to ignore his son's existence, which deeply hurt the boy. He did not understand what he had done to deserve such coldness.
The father's aloofness planted the first dark seed in the cub's soul, which soon sprouted and grew into hatred. And when Rakshe appeared, it completely broke what little light there was in him.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that Amadeus is called the Serpent for his vile nature and love for poison/poisoning. He smears his blades with poison from plants or adds poison to drinks.
In addition to poisons, Amadeus is well versed in plants and can make antidote or sleeping pills, as well as other effects such as temporary blindness, etc. He likes plants with thorns and carnivorous ones, and in his ancestral castle Askavar there is an entire greenhouse under a glass dome that protects from sandstorms.
Plants were probably the only ones Amadeus had a lenient attitude towards. And only because he could control them (or so he thought) and they could not talk back to him. But as he went mad, his luxurious greenhouse began to fall into disrepair, until he finally burned everything down. The flames symbolized the end of who he was.
I perceive Sangars, Selidars and other creatures from the world of Adarakt and Inferus as a real spirits, they is NOT my characters or anyone else: an absolutely independent persons. So comments about the ''character'' are NOT desirable. Show respect for them and then them will give it to you in return.
