I'm seriously considering starting to play TF2, and not just because of the scout (well, maybe a little
). However, I'm a girl. I'm really worried it'd be extremely awkward for me on the chat (i.e. getting special treatment, hit on, or insulted bc of my gender). I've checked around for voice changers for the mac, but there aren't any, so I can't even ninja my way in that way >__>;; Any advice?
In any case, do you recommend TF2? Advice for beginners (like me)? Any community(ies) I should join? Any information is greatly appreciated

So, ~PsychoPhysics let me know that TF2 is okay to play as a girl... I now have a Steam account and whatnot. Gonna get some practice in before I start playing online

I'm a girl and I play all sorts of online games. Yeah it happens but its alright there are alot of players who are jerks
