That may sound like a silly question, but what are adoptables? Well... I understand that and how you adopt them, but what do people do with those adopted darlings?

This isn't a silly question at all! It's really seen as almost a game. You can really do with the adoptables as you wish. Like *trowicia and myself, we sometimes like to make kemonomimi characters out of them and RP them. Others like to just post them on their deviantART page in their journals, and others just collect them, like you would deviantART stamps. :3
There really is no right or wrong way to enjoy adoptables -- especially ours! Once adopted, that animal is yours to do with as you please!
