There are a bunch of different majors offered at my school, and I've considered a few of them, but the main ones are Art Education and Illustration.Illustration would involve a lot of work. From what I've read and heart from majors/alums, it's long hours, lots of self promotion and self motivation and self direction. Pay can be slow, and occasionally clients will take their sweet time in paying you.Art Ed would involve a lot of testing and lesson planning, but once I land a job there would be a steady paycheck, not to mention nice stuff like health insurance, which is generally nice.I thought earlier that the path of Illustration would inv...
