My Bio

Hm what's there to say about me? I'm 25 years and my birthay is on October 11th. I am a type 1 diabetic and don't let it get in my way. I also have 5 tattoos. I love art and hate animal abuse. I love the American Pitbull Terrier breed. I hate how some people treat this breed and how some see them as monsters. When I get older I hope to be a great artist and writer and educate people on how pitbulls truly are.

Owning a Pitbull is a lifestyle. You fight stereotypes and you take on these sterotypes as if they were giving you own people a hard time. Being a pitbull owner is about fighting for a breed of dog whose reputation is tarnished and showing people who they really are. Defending their name becomes your mission. You become an advocate for their rights. Being a Pitbull owner is not only the responsibility, it’s a duty and most of all it is a PRIVILEGE! It’s a privilege no one apart from a Pitbull owner can understand. Which is we are owners of the most loving dog there is! Tell me if I’m wrong!

Rescue Dog Poem

0 min read
A rescue dog will have a tale to tell It may be sad, or of a life of Hell It may be a story of a once loved pup Who found herself homeless when a marriage broke up Or a faithful companion, who's owner's passed on And the poor little dog doesn't know where they've gone. Or of a dog that's been beaten, never had the chance to 'live' And yet gain his trust - he'll have so much love to give. A pup that grew out of the cute, cuddly stage, Has grown big and unruly and is now at 'that age' So he gets given away, it's such a shame When it's the lack of training that's really to blame. Some rescue dogs may be quite old Just need a nice home, out of...

Your rescue "kit" should include: A heart of gold to accept those creatures that don't measure up as "perfect" in the eyes of the rest of the world. The people skills of a salesperson. . . to convince those that are looking for perfection that they will find it in a rescue dog if they are willing to look a little deeper. A heart of steel to be able to say no when there just isn't any more room for just one more dog. The knowledge that you can't save them all. The ability to smile and speak rationally when the 10th person for the day says "I don't want this stupid dog anymore. . . take him or I am gonna shoot him." Some medical knowledge. ....

Before I was a Dog Mom: I made and ate hot meals unmolested; I had unstained, unfurred clothes; I had quiet conversations on the phone, even if the doorbell rang. Before I was a Dog Mom:  I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got to bed . . . or if I could get into my bed. Before I was a Dog Mom:  I cleaned my house everyday, I never tripped over toys, stuffies, chewies, or invited the neighbor's dog over to play. Before I was a Dog Mom:  I didn't worry if my plants, cleansers, plastic bags, toilet paper, soap or deodorant were poisonous or dangerous. Before I was a Dog Mom:  I had never been peed on, pooped on, droole...
